“The Bible and the Virgin Mary” examines the role of Mary in salvation history. We’ll study her role as the New Eve, the Ark of the New Covenant, and the Queen Mother. This study also examines Catholic doctrine with regard to the Blessed Virgin, answering common objections along the way. We’ll also explore the Vatican-approved apparitions of Our Lady that have occurred over the last two millennia.

About this study:

1.“The Bible and the Virgin Mary” is a 12 session bible study, meeting once a week, that includes video presentations and participant workbooks.

2.The 12, weekly sessions are held September 22  - 

December 15; with a break for Thanksgiving week.

1.Participant workbooks are available on line as a downloadable pdf or can be ordered for $18.00/per copy.

2.If you want a printed workbook, please place your order at the parish office by September 8 to ensure timely delivery.

Interested in leading a small group? Facilitator training/meeting will be held September 15 in the parish library at 6:00PM.

If you’ve been in a small group or curious about the program, come and find out what small group faith formation is all about. This is a light snack potluck event; please bring a food item to share.

Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? You are not alone. Join our caring Grief Share group for a weekly gathering to find comfort, share experiences, and learn coping mechanisms in a supportive environment. Each week includes a 20 minute video presented by ministers and grief counselors. For over 25 years, Grief Share (a Christian based program) has helped people heal from the pain of grief. The Grief Ministry will begin meeting on Thursday, September 11th from 2:00 pm—3:30 pm in the parish lounge and every Thursday thereafter for 13 weeks.

Parents of Junior High and High School teens, you’re invited to a special evening designed just for you! This will be a one-stop night to:

·Register your teen for Youth Group and Confirmation

·Hear from our youth ministry leaders about plans for the year

·Join together with other parents for a meaningful prayer service over your children and the teens of our parish

This is a parent-only evening so you can freely ask questions, receive important information, and experience time set aside for spiritual renewal.

Our parish is excited about this new season of ministry, and we want to walk with families in deeper and more meaningful ways. Together, we’re building a community that supports one another, grows in faith, and helps lead our teens closer to Christ.

6-7:30 PM- This includes Sacramental Prep for First Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

Middle School Youth Ministry (Grades 6–8)
Begins Monday, September 29th. We’re launching a renewed junior high youth group open to all 6th–8th graders! 

Meets Monday nights from 6–7:30 PM. Teens will 

encounter Christ through community, prayer, and 

engaging formation.

·7th grade - Four monthly prep nights (will be noted on parent calendar)

·8th grade - Eight monthly prep nights (will be noted on parent calendar). Retreat Weekend: 

November 8–9. Designed to help teens experience God’s love and respond personally in faith.

Begins Sunday, September 28th  6-7:30 PM. Now following the Life Teen model for deeper Scripture engagement and relational discipleship. Monthly XLT Adoration Nights featuring inspiring talks, praise & worship, and Eucharistic Adoration.

We are excited to announce our upcoming St. Joseph’s Catholic Church chili/pozole cook-off fundraiser! The tasting event will take place on Sunday, September 28th, 2025 from 10:00-3:00 pm outside in the church courtyard. All funds raised will go to support the St. Joseph Faith Formation Center. All chili and pozole must be prepared outside in the courtyard on the day of the event. Cooking can start as early as 6 AM, and the chili/pozole must be ready to serve by 10 AM. All cooking equipment, ingredients, and supplies must be brought from home. We invite parish individuals/families/ teams to enter this cook-off!
